Do you lead non-profit collaborations? Join us to learn facilitation skills and transform your collaborations into vibrant partnerships!
To address complex and systemic issues, more and more non-profits are choosing to work collaboratively with each other. But how does that work? What tools do you need to form vibrant collaborative relationships? How do you facilitate these discussions to come up with joint decisions?
Join us for a 2-day workshop aimed at developing your facilitation skills!
What you’ll learn:
- Basics of facilitation – what is it, why is it important, and how it supports collaboration
- Meeting design – the “how-to’s,” useful tips, and tools
- Meeting facilitation - stages and flows of conversation, soliciting feedback, and partnership building
- Collaborative decisions - How to support group decision making and help guide next steps
Who is this workshop designed for?
- People who are relatively new to facilitation or have some experience but are new to facilitating collaborations between non-profits and/or community partners
- People who work within a non-profit organization and are facilitating internal meetings or multi-partner collaborations
This training may not be for you if you:
- Consider yourself an expert/professional facilitator
- Have recent formal facilitation training
Following the 2-day workshop, we will host 3 coaching sessions (monthly from May to July) to provide additional opportunities for participants to practice their newly developed skills and get feedback from the workshop facilitators and their peers.
