A free public session on strategic learning offering a glimpse into the upcoming Eval Lab program.

With limited time, evaluation can become a peripheral part of service and program delivery – a check on the funding checklist – rather than a tool of significant value for making improvements in environments of complexity. In response to this struggle, concepts such as strategic learning have emerged as a way to integrate evaluative thinking into the work of nonprofits for improved learning and decision-making. But how does strategic learning work in practice, and can it provide a feasible and useful way of fostering learning in nonprofit organizations and collaboratives?

This free public webinar is an opportunity for the non-profit community to explore the basics of strategic learning. Evaluation expert Sami Berger will walk us through concepts of strategy and learning before helping put the them together into strategic learning. This 90-minute interactive webinar follows a case study approach that allows participants to gain a better understanding of strategic learning and its importance while also provide space for questions and conversation. By the end of this session, you will have a basic knowledge of strategic learning, its benefits, and how to start embedding it into your organization!
