Join Edmonton's non-profit community and the Government of Alberta for an official information session about the Non-Profit Energy Efficiency Transition (NEET) Program.

The NEET Program provides funding and assistance to help non-profit organizations determine the efficiency of their current energy systems and implement improvements that will help save on energy costs while improving environmental sustainability throughout the sector.

Representatives from the Government of Alberta and Energy Efficiency Alberta (EEA) will be on hand to provide the latest information on the program and answer questions non-profits have about jumping on board.

The Program

Shannon Phillips, Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister Responsible for the Climate Change Office, will provide an overview of the NEET program and the important role that non-profits play in energy efficiency.

Representatives from Energy Efficiency Alberta will detail the components of the program and provide valuable information for non-profits wishing to take part.

There will be a brief Q&A period with the speakers.

Self-assigned breakout sessions in which attendees can dig deeper into various aspects of the NEET program:

  • New to EEA? Learn more about its energy efficiency programs helping Albertans save on energy costs
  • Questions and more information about the NEET Program specifically
  • Give feedback on opportunities and challenges that will inform future programs

After the Information Sessions, Energy Efficiency Alberta will produce a What We Heard document that will be sent to all participants.

As space is limited, we encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible if your organization wishes to take advantage of this program. Check back in early January for more details on the venue and speakers.
