Join the Ethno-Cultural Capacity Building Collaboratives first Grant Writing Workshop!
Do you struggle with navigating grant applications and processes? Do you have questions about how to make your application stand out to the funders?
This 2-part workshop will cover all the necessary skills and knowledge that contribute to a successful grant application.
Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Program Planning
- Grant writing tips
- Budgeting
- Building good and strong partnerships, and much more.
After the workshop, you will have access to additional resources and tools as well as be invited to support sessions facilitated by various experts and capacity builders. You can bring any grant-related questions you have to the support sessions!
WHO THIS SESSION IS FOR
This workshop is open to all grassroots ethno-cultural organizations and community groups/leaders. Only 30 spots are available.

Session 1: Foundations of Grant Proposals - June 22nd @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
via Zoom
Session 2: Practical Grant Writing Skills and Resources - June 24th @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Alumni Room at the Commonwealth Rec Centre - Location 11000 Stadium Rd NW
Registration deadline: June 16, 2023.
COST
This workshop is FULLY SUBSIDIZED due to funding received by the City of Edmonton and the Stollery Foundation.
Tech requirements of participants: To participate fully on the online day, you will need a computer or tablet with a functioning webcam that will connect to Zoom. A working microphone and speakers are required.
This event will be photographed/recorded and may be used for future social media and publication purposes.
